Home, sweet home. We absolutely LOVE Mallorca. This Mediterranean island is a dream come true. But today we’re here to talk to you about our favourite beach, which also happens to be the location of Ponderosa Beach.

To be fair, we have to say that the competition isn’t easy when it comes down to beaches in Mallorca. There are plenty of stunning beaches and coves all over the island. But there are a few things that make Playa de Muro extra special and we’ll be happy to help you discover this beautiful white-sanded beach in Mallorca’s North.
Beach fun at Playa de Muro
Fun fact: Playa de Muro is the largest sand beach on Mallorca. A little bit longer than the popular beach of ‘Es Trenc’ in Mallorca’s South, Playa de Muro is divided into four sections covering about 6 kilometres in total.
And if you’re looking to have some fun at the beach, Playa de Muro is definitely the perfect spot for you. Water sports offered at this beach include: paddle boats, banana boats, wind surfing, kite surfing, stand up paddle and more. Just walk by the beach and you’ll find all the rentals ready to offer you some good ol’ summer fun! Of course, you will also see volleyball and beach ball courts to play for a while if you feel like it!
If you feel like doing something extra-special, you can also book half day boat trips including dolphin tours.
Safety & accessibility at Playa de Muro
Playa de Muro is designed to be enjoyed safely by everyone. Our lovely beach has given its accessibility quite a bit of thought. It has eight walkways installed there to roll along with ease. It also provides all-day amphibious chair service for disabled people during the summer months. In addition to the accessibility, this beach is also all about safety. The beach has attentive lifeguards to keep everyone safe all the way!
