At Ponderosa Beach<\/a> we\u2019re all about SHARING local tips<\/strong> and knowledge. Why? Because we want everyone visiting (or living) this island to get to know the best of Mallorca<\/strong>. Our Mediterranean island is a little piece of paradise and we\u2019re ready to share it with the world! Today we would like to highlight three idyllic spots for you to discover while visiting Mallorca.<\/p>\n

Best coves in Mallorca\u2019s North<\/h1>\n

It is hard to think of only three hidden coves<\/strong> to share with all of you, but we will do our best to give you our favourite places, because \u2018sharing is caring\u2019, right? So let\u2019s get to it:<\/p>\n

Cala Sant Vicen\u00e7<\/h2>\n

Cala Sant Vicen\u00e7 is one place, but it has four coves<\/strong>, so we\u2019re giving you four cool places in one for you to discover. Not bad! The four beaches are called: Cala Barques, Cala Clara, Cala Carbo and Cala Molins.<\/strong> All four are in Cala Sant Vicen\u00e7, which is why we talk about it as if was one place on the island. The good news is that these beaches are in walking distance<\/strong> one from the other, offering you the perfect day-trip.<\/p>\n

The largest is \u2018Cala Barques\u2019:<\/strong> white sand, rocky sea, lifeguard and sun loungers.<\/p>\n

The furthest away is \u2018Cala Carbo<\/strong>\u2019: a rocky cove with no sand, stunning water and the one that\u2019s usually less busy.<\/p>\n

‘Cala Clara’<\/strong> is normally packed, as a large hotel is located right behind it, but still is a wonderful beach with stairs going down from the rocks into the water.<\/p>\n

Last, but not least, ‘Cala Molins’<\/strong>: easy access, facilities and lifeguard service with a stunning backdrop.<\/p>\n

Cala Figuera<\/h2>\n

Located in the Northeast in a stunning cove on the \u2018Cap de Formentor\u2019,<\/strong> Cala Figuera and its remote location offers turquoise water and a breath-taking scenario, becoming one of the gems of Mallorca\u2019s North.<\/p>\n

Located among\u00a0high vertical cliffs<\/strong>, this gravel and rock beach has some sandy spots and can only be accessed after a 20-minute walk from the parking nearby.<\/p>\n

Cala Mesquida<\/h2>\n

With 300 metres in length, Cala Mesquida is a remote beach located in Mallorca\u2019s Northeast<\/strong>. What makes this beach extra-special are its surroundings, because the area is actually protected due to the importance for bird-life.<\/p>\n
